Carl A. Nelson & Company is an Eastern Iowa-based construction firm with offices in Burlington, Iowa, and Cedar Falls, Iowa. Our design-build, construction management, and general contracting services support clients across Iowa, throughout the Midwest, and beyond.
We are licensed in 22 of the 50 states to support long-term client relationships , which represent approximately 80% of our annual construction volume.
That geographic reach reflects client needs rather than a growth-driven expansion strategy. Licensing in multiple states allows Carl A. Nelson & Company to continue supporting clients as their operations evolve, while maintaining a primary service focus within approximately 350 miles of Burlington, Iowa.
Our primary service area includes all or portions of: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
We are also licensed in: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.
International Clientele
In addition to our work for U.S.-based companies, we also have experience working amid the unique requirements of clients owned by overseas corporations.
